In these unprecedented times, in order to assist your family’s unique learning needs, we have implemented an online learning service in order to continue to deliver our exceptional one-to-one programs to our students.

Our virtual sessions utilize a variety of online tools, including:

Video conferencing using Zoom
Screen-sharing
Virtual white-boards to write on the same screen
The ability to interact with your child face-to-face, as well as error handle and model strategies just as we would in person

Reading

Structured Literacy instruction includes Orton-Gillingham, Direct Instruction, and Lindamood-Bell.

We target the many strands that underpin skilled reading and spelling:

PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS ( Syllables, segmenting, blending, rhyming, Phonemic Awareness)
DECODING (alphabetical principles, symbol-sound correspondence)
SIGHT RECOGNITION (familiar words, automaticity)
READING COMPREHENSION (background knowledge, vocabulary, language structures, print concepts, etc..)

Writing

Students that struggle with writing have a difficult time in school because efficient writing skills are essential to academic success.

At GLOW LEARNING CO., we will customize a structured writing program to improve your child's ability to communicate clearly.
